Back for another collection of madcap nuttiness, Jamie Smart’s Bunny vs Monkey Book 3 is full of yet more crazy inventions, oddball schemes and daft shenanigans. If all the usual sublime silliness wasn’t enough, there’s now an added dimension to what’s happening in the woods as the park rangers make an entrance. Bunny, Monkey and their various animal friends now have to cope with humans.
Unlike Yogi Bear’s relationship with his ranger, the rangers within these pages are very much not up-to-speed with what’s going on around them, from the mysterious mince pies that appear each night to the giant eyeball in the road, they know that something odd’s going on in their woods, they just don’t have a clue what, and it makes them nervous.
But it’s not all about human encounters. There are the expected lumbering robots and outlandish plans in Monkey’s quest to enslave all around him, plus some other new additions by way of a group of warthogs. And some kakapos with exploding poo. Who’s not going to love that?
This is great comic fun for kids (and adults) so make sure you don’t miss out.
