Directions to the “Lifeboat” from Margate Railway Station: Walk towards the sea and turn right along the prom, passing Dreamland. The entrance to Market St. is on the right, opposite the Pier and within sight of the Turner Gallery.
Programme:
Saturday: From the Lifeboat we will go for a light lunch. Then, the afternoon is yours to visit Dreamland or the Turner Contemporary Gallery with it’s Grayson Perry Exhibition (Free entry), or whatever you want to do. Later we will regroup for dinner.
Sunday: A day for sightseeing and a slap-up Sunday lunch.
Several members are staying in Margate and nearby Broadstairs. Some are coming just for the Saturday.
