More Bunny vs Monkey? Oh, yes. This new book collects together the previous third and fourth volumes into one stonking-great-big book of comic madness.
There’s lots to love in any Jamie Smart book, but there’s something particularly bonkers about Bunny vs Monkey. As the title suggests, the humans are coming to the woods, armed with machinery, tools, and more machinery. For most of the animals this is a terrible thing, but for Monkey it means more potential chaos. And machinery.
But this is not just a book about road-building humans. There’s plenty of room for such things as cloning machines, worm hats, and black dragons. All madcap and usually the result of some daft invention that’s gone wrong. No wonder kids get such a kick out of this strip.
The chunky format works really well, and there’s tonnes to read and laugh at throughout. If you’re looking for something to keep a child engaged and grinning then you can’t do much better than this.
And if you liked that: Volume 3 is coming soon.
