Cartoonists' Club Of Great Britain member Anthony Smith has created the perfect little book for any dog lover, playing upon the sometimes wilful behaviour of some hounds to mishear a command. The particular cartoon pup in question receives commands from his owner but cheekily interprets them in increasingly outrageous ways, where Paw for example results in a two-finger salute and Fetch has him retrieving the Crown Jewels. Each command is repeated with greater and greater exasperation ending in the reproach of the title. A simple yet deliciously exectuted idea that had me smirking throughout, and an ideal gift for anyone who owns or has owned a dog.
