“Ìrìn Àjò”, a debut solo exhibition by Samuel Ojo, brings together a selection of his political cartoons, documenting migrant stories and lived experiences as a counter-narrative to anti-immigration rhetoric in the UK. The works combine personal narratives and policy critique, speaking truth to power while capturing the humour and hope embedded in migrant life. The exhibition seeks to reframe the migrant not as a burden, but as a contributor, cultural bridge, and human being deserving of dignity.
It will open with a private view at the Cartoon Museum, 63 Wells St, London, W1A 3AE at 6pm on 24 July.
