CCGB member Doctor Simpo has been celebrating 20 years of Space Dork. With a foreword by the esteemed Bryan Talbot and a cartoon  and sign-off from Hunt Emerson, the anthology collects all the strips to date. 

Inspired by Basil Wolverton’s Space Hawk, the first Space Dork strip embraces everything that makes underground and small press comics so much fun. At the time, the good Doctor was both writing and illustrating, but then he met the outstanding talent that is Graham P Manley and the whole thing leapt forward like Sulu putting his coffee down on the Warp button. 

You may be familiar with Graham’s work on Judge Dredd Magazine, but, if not,  you only need to take a look at the panel below to appreciate his talent. Gorgeous stuff.
